Jamie Woodmansee, is co-founder of Synergy STEM Partners, a collaborative venture designed to bridge the gap between school curricula and the business world. Our mission is to help students understand the real-world applications of their studies while enabling businesses to inspire and shape the next generation of talent.
I graduated from Aberystwyth University with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biology, which led me to a career with the Forensic Science Service. There, I worked as both a forensic scientist and an implementation specialist, collaborating with police forces to introduce new technologies, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver effective solutions.
Seeking a new challenge, I transitioned into education, where I found a passion for teaching. Over 20 years, I’ve held various roles in schools, culminating in my position as Deputy Curriculum Leader for Science. In this role, I led curriculum development and cultivated a love of science in students, preparing them for a rapidly evolving world.
Now, I’m excited to bring my combined expertise in education and forensic science to Synergy STEM Partners. By working closely with schools and businesses, I aim to enhance STEM education, align it with industry needs, and inspire the workforce of the future.

I strive to inspire students to recognize the importance of STEM in our local areas and equip them with the skills to drive STEM growth in the North West.
